- The Children’s Summer Lunch Program was a non-profit organization on the East End of Long Island. It was created to meet a previously unmet need – providing food during the summer for children who are on free or reduced school lunch programs during the school year. As co-founder, I established the CSLP Junior Committee, assisted in fundraising, coordinating volunteers and distribution of food. We successfully fed over 2000 children as a result of a fully integrated community effort.
